Shaw earns spot in school history books

The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura wrestling team moved their record to 1-3 in dual action.

The Cardinals competed in a dual against Eagle Grove and West Hancock on Thursday, Dec. 1.  GHV fell to Eagle Grove, 46-35, and to Eagle Grove 45-33.  Austin Case (113), Zach Eichman (120), Jace Pringnitz (138), Colyn Schoneman (160) and Conner Shaw (170 and 182) all went 2-0 for the night.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, the Cardinals competed in the St. Ansgar tournament.  GHV went 1-3 with its only win against St. Ansgar.

Shaw has a perfect record of 4-0 for the season.  He has become GHV’s all-time wrestler with the most wins with 127.   The old record was held by Jeffery Short who had 125 wins.
