CLHS Dance Team brings home Championship honors

The Clear Lake High School Dance Team participated in the State Dance Team Competition held at Wells Fargo Arena, in Des Moines, on Thursday, Dec. 1.  The team received State Championship honors in both Pom and Hip Hop.  The group was also recognized for Outstanding Academic Achievement.   The Championship routines were a cheerleader themed Hip Hop choreographed by Michelle Barlas in Class 5 and a police officer themed routine choreographed by Richelle Morrissey in Class 8.   The team also performed a nurses themed jazz routine choreographed by Katie Stoltman, which placed fifth in Class 3A.  Members of the team include: front row (L-R): Sophia Willis, Lexie Holtz, Brooke Keith, Sophie Schultz, Ellie Tindall, Ali Witt, Grace Hartnett.
