Lake woman injured in two-vehicle crash
A Clear Lake woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in rural Clear Lake Thursday, Aug. 31.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Tami Nelson, 53, of Forest City, Iowa failed to yield at a stop sign placed at the intersection of County Road B-20 and S-18. Nelson, driving a 2012 Ford Aerotech bus, struck the driver’s side of a 1998 Buick driven by Wilma Anderson, 70, of Lake Mills, Iowa.
The accident was reported a 1:41 p.m. Thursday.
The Clear Lake Fire Department and Mason City Fire Department provided assistance at the scene. A passenger in the Anderson vehicle, Teresa Meling, 52, of Clear Lake, was reportedly injured in the collision.
