Now that the snow is gone, it’s time for a community cleanup!

Week devoted to Trash Bash

There is still time to take part in Clear Lake’s Earth days Trash Bash in and around Clear Lak.

Now that the snow has melted and ditches are starting to dry up, it’s time for some community spring cleaning.  With the extended timeline, the City of Clear Lake is providing a dumpster through April 29 in the parking lot across from the Clear Lake Police Department.  Garbage bags are available at the Clear Lake Chamber office.   

There are still some sites that have not been selected.  Businesses, organizations, neighborhoods, families and individuals are encouraged to register online at http://earthdayclearlake.org/events/trash-bash.   

All cleanup teams are asked to take a selfie of your team and post it at #cltrashbash for a chance to win a prize.  And all cleanup teams are eligible to win the Green Jacket and have their team name embroidered on the jacket.
