What a difference a week makes

What’s that old saying about Iowa weather?  Wait a day and it will change?  Well, if you wait a week it will REALLY change.  (Above) On Tuesday, April 17, members of the Clear Lake girls soccer team decided to get out of the gym and do something completely different and fun on the soccer field.  Coach Greg Jennings led the girls onto the soccer practice field on the south side of the school to construct the teams’ starting 11 players in their positions in the form of snowmen.  (Below) On Tuesday, April 24, crews were busy putting in docks along the north shore.  In the foreground, Bob Kopriva is ready to swing a sledge hammer on some posts as his teams lay out materials.-Reporter photos by Chris Barragy.
