Three charged with harboring runaway teen

Three persons have been arrested and charged with Harboring a Runaway in connection to a missing Clear Lake teen.

On Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 18, Eric Jon Anderson, 38, and Leroy David Lomholt, 59, both from Mason City, were charged with the Aggravated Misdemeanor. Anderson and Lomholt were taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and held on $2,000 bond.

The following day, Megan Carlyle, 33, of Mason City, was also arrested and was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail on the same charge.

Clear Lake police allege the three provided shelter to a known runaway child under 18-years of age against the wishes of a parent.  

The missing juvenile was reported safe and was reunited with family. 

Clear Lake Officers were assisted by the Mason City Police Department in the investigation and arrests.
