Girls track team competes at H-D meet

It was a night of personal bests Friday, when the Clear Lake girls track team competed at Hampton-Dumont.
Anna Feuerbach ran a personal best in the 800. Her time of 2:43.07 placed her fourth.
Grace Myer and Mariposa Coleman ran their personal bests in the 100 hurdles. The pair did not place, but Myer ran a 19.59 and Coleman crossed the finish line in 20.94.
The Lions also had personal records in the sprint medley and distance medley. The distance medley team of Maycee Mariarty, Makella Jacobs, Ava Richtsmeier and Feuerbach finished fifth in 4:56.53. The same team was seventh in the sprint medley in a season-best time of 2:09.76.
In field events, Myer earned some team points with a long jump of 13’6.75” to place sixth. Alana Moody threw the shot a personal best at 29’03.50”. Moody was also eighth in the discus with a mark of 76’5”.
