Boys split tennis matches last week

The Clear Lake boys split matches played last week.  The Lions played the fifth-ranked Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons on Monday, April 26. A-P came away with a 9-0 victory.  The undefeated Falcons won all matches in straight sets. Cabot Neuberger gave Christian Haugstad a tough second set before dropping the set at 6-4.

The Lions defeated Webster City at home on Friday, April 30, by a score of 6-3.  Jaxson Gerhardt, Ben Loge and Nathan Lollar won both singles and doubles matches. The Lions won four singles matches and two doubles matches on the night.
