Reiman dominates at Earlham Meet

The Clear Lake boys track team had some success when they traveled to Earlham on Tuesday, March 29.

Tanner Reiman brought home two first place finishes.  One in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.99 and another in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.85.

Zeke Nelson placed second in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.89.  Also placing second was the 4x200 relay with a time of 1:34.36.  Members of the relay are Alex Kerr, Titan Schmitt, Jagger Schmitt and Tanner Reiman.

There were several events that placed third; Jagger Schmitt in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.59; Vladimir Starret in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:47.67; the 4x800 relay of Jaden Wright, Joe Faber, Marcus Skidmore and Andrew Mixdorf, with a time of 8:56.38; and the Distance Medley Relay of LJ Bryant, Hartl, Skidmore and Wright, with a time of 3:56.08.

The 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays were not run at the end of the meet, due to rain.

•Long Jump: Titan Schmitt, 6th, 18’2”; Enke, 13th, 16’10.5”; Litzel, 20th, 15’3”

•Shot Put: J.D. Schmitz, 9th, 37’2.5”; Deike, 14th, 34’6”; Schoby, 21st, 31’8”

•Shuttle Hurdle: Erpelding, Enke, Cooper Cooke, Nelson, 4th, 1:08.90
