Orin Juel Solbrack, 72, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at the Oakwood Care Center, in Clear Lake.

A Memorial Service and celebration of his life, was held in the Severtson Forum of the Kinney-Lindstrom Center at Opportunity Village, Clear Lake, on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, with Pastor Rich Murray officiating. Inurnment was held in the Salem Memorial Cemetery.    

Those wishing to give a memorial in his memory, may wish to consider contributions to Opportunity Village.

 Catherine L. Wells, 84, Clear Lake, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, July 27, 2014, at the Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life Party for friends and family will be held from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Apple Valley Assisted Living, 405 27th Ave. S., Clear Lake. According to her wishes her body has been cremated after the family had a private viewing at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake. The family requests that gifts be given to Hospice of North Iowa, Mason City, or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Clarence ‘Clancy’ Wiebenga, 72, longtime Thornton, Iowa, resident, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa.  Funeral services were held on Saturday at the First Reformed Church, Meservey, Iowa, with Rev. Rodney Meester presiding.  Interment was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Thornton.

 Ethel J. Palmeter, 95, of St. Augustine, Fla., formerly of Humboldt, Iowa, passed away May 18, 2014.  Funeral services were held on May 23, 2014 in the chapel of the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.  Graveside services were in the Clear Lake Cemetery at the Wrisberg family plot.

Patricia Ann Bahling, 1305 2nd Ave. NE, Clear Lake, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. 

     A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church, 508 2nd Ave. N., Clear Lake, with Rev. Bernie Colorado officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial

Patsy Ann Broers, 67, of Harrison, Ark., died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Hospice House in Harrison.  

Services for Patsy were held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church, Harrison, with the Rev. David Williams officiating.  Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1100 W. Zenovia M. Kelly, age 89, of New Hampton, Iowa, died Monday, March 3, 2014 at the New Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

     Wyatt Bronson Lang, nine month old son of Gavin and Angela Lang, passed away on Feb. 2, 2014 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

     Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg, Iowa, with Pastor Blaine Pritchett officiating.  Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Hamburg.

Shore Drive, Clear Lake, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 in the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit of North Iowa, Mason City.  Private family interment services were held Jan. 14 at Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown, Iowa, where Jean attended school, married and raised her family.

     Frances Schwichtenberg, age 88, most recently a resident of the Concord Care Center, Garner, Iowa, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at the Concord Care Center, Garner.  

Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at the Klemme United Methodist Church, Klemme. Burial was in the Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme.
