Beverly Ann (Olk) Nielsen, 84, loving wife and mother, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, with her loving husband at her side.

A Memorial service for Beverly will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Ward-Van-Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, with Pastor Steve Bang and Al Berge officiating for Zion Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be held following the service in the Coulter Cemetery.

Rev. Daird Wayne Korth, 67, of Clear Lake, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, at his home.

Daird’s family will hold a private graveside inurnment at Ventura Cemetery at a later date.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel handled arrangements.  

Floyd Arnold Petersburg, age 97, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at Country Meadow Place Assisted Living in Mason City, Iowa. 

Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 13, at Grace Lutheran Church, Hanlontown, with the Rev. Linda Johnson-Prestholt officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Mason City, with military honors by the Clear Lake VFW Post 4868 Honor Guard.

Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church or International Messengers in Clear Lake.
