Susan Rae Peters, 66, of Clear Lake, died Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice, in Mason City.

A private family graveside service was held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Reinbeck Cemetery, in Reinbeck, Iowa.

Family suggests memorial contributions to MercyOne North Iowa Hospice, in Mason City, or One Vision, in Clear Lake.

Susan was born Sept. 2, 1953, the daughter of Ray Edward and Elva Marlene (Willer) Peters, in Grundy Center. She moved to Clear Lake in 1974, and began residing at Opportunity Village.

John D. Lundberg

John David Lundberg, 76, died peacefully at home on June 27, 2020, surrounded by family.

  John graduated from Mason City High School in 1961 and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University in 1965.  He married his beloved wife, Marty McNeil, in 1966.  He treasured his children, Kathy and David Gates,  Mike and Angie Lundberg.  He adored his grandchildren, Brian Gates and Megan Gates.

He was predeceased by his parents Marcus and Agnes Lundberg.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, at Brush Point Cemetery, in Fertile, with Pastor Rob Perry officiating.

Steven W Adair, 68, passed away with family by his side on June 23, 2020, after a long battle with renal cell carcinoma. He was born in Albuquerque, N.M., on March 15, 1952, but always claimed Texas as home.

Barbara J. Ward

Barbara Joan Ward, a devoted mother and lifelong resident of Ventura, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the age of 66, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, east of Garner, with the Rev. Carl Hedberg officiating.  Inurnment was in the church cemetery.

  Memorials may be directed to St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Barbara J. Ward

Joyce Helen Carew, 85, of Clear Lake, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020, at IOOF Home in Mason City.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 6, at Galilean Lutheran Church, 4454 255th Street, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Melinda McCluskey officiating. Innichement will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation and public viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel.

Memorials may be directed to Galilean Lutheran Church in Joyce’s honor.
