Robert L. Klassen, Ventura, died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Britt, Iowa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2017, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1001 9th Ave. S., Clear Lake, with the Rev. John Gossman officiating.  Inurnment will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery with military honors provided by the Clear Lake VFW Post 4868.

Chong Bun Lam, 86, 709 N. 6th Pl., Clear Lake, died July 3, 2017, at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life was held at Lam Inn Restaurant, Clear Lake, on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

According to his wishes, his body has been cremated.  Memorials may be sent to 709 N. 6th Pl.. Clear Lake, IA 50428.

Morris J. Norem

Morris James Norem, 87, of Clear Lake,  passed away peacefully on July 7, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with the Rev. James Norem and Al Berge officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or the Senior Citizens Center, in Clear Lake.

Area runners compete at State Cross Country Meet
