Ronald S. Glanville, 57, left our land “our world” on April 1, 2016, at his home in Clear Lake, following a battle with cancer.  He was the husband of Carrie for 21 years.

There will be a time of gathering of family and friends from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Lester "Les"  Ernest Godden, 91, of Mason City, formerly of Clear Lake, went to heaven on April, 2016, to be with his wife, Jean.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the First Congregational Church, Clear Lake.  Visitation will be from 4 - 6 p.m. Monday, April 4 at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel.

William "Bill" H. Varty, Clear Lake, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016, in Hays, Kansas.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6 at Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake.  A visitation will be held at 10 a.m.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family and Human Society of  North Iowa.

Jon Lowell Jensen, 87, of Clear Lake, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, in Mason City, Iowa, of Parkinson’s disease.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 2, at First Congregational Church of Christ, Mason City, with the Rev. Chuck Kelsey officiating.  A time of food and fellowship followed the service at the church.  A private inurnment in the church’s columbarium will also be held on Saturday.
