Mary Vickers, 91, passed Sept. 15, 2021, in Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Scenic Chapel, 1334 N. Scenic Drive, in Alamogordo, with Pastor Garland Peek officiating.

The Vickers family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel, Alamogordo, to direct the services.

Darlene Deloris Smith, 94, of Clear Lake, passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at home surrounded by family.

There will be a public graveside service held on Thursday, Sept 30, at 2 p.m., at Clear Lake Cemetery with the the Rev. Al Berge officiating. 

Darlene’s family suggests memorial contributions to the Clear Lake VFW, Zion Lutheran Church in Clear Lake or to OneVision.

Emily Jo Majerczyk, 20, of Clear Lake passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital, in Iowa City, surrounded by her family.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, Sept. 23, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Josh Link, celebrant. She was laid to rest in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Gary L. Bauer, 69, of Clear Lake, passed away Saturday, Sept.18, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, in Mason City.

A celebration of his life was held on Saturday, Sept. 25, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Eric Weaver, of First Baptist Church, Forest City, and Heath Bauer co-officiating.
