Getting the right players in the right positions has been a challenge for the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura boys throughout the season, but they may have found the formula as they defeated CAL, 10-2, on Friday, May 5.

The Clear Lake boys appear to be peaking at the right time.  The Lions had several strong performances at the Hackbarth Relays held in Algona Monday, May 1.  Denver edged Algona for the team title, with 109 points to 104.  Forest City was a close third with 102.  Humboldt and the Lions were next with 84 and 52 points respectively.  The field also included Bishop Garrig
