LaVonne Ruth Etchen, 91, of Mason City, went to meet her Lord and loved ones on Nov. 14, 2019, at MercyOne Hospice of North Iowa Inpatient Unit, in Mason City.

A private family service was held. Memorials may be directed to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Humane Society of North Iowa, or Hospice of North Iowa in LaVonne’s name. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.majorericksonfuneralhome.com

Darlys J. Clark, 83, of Naples, Fla., formerly from Mason City, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, at MercyOne Medical Center North Iowa, in Mason City. She was under the care of her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Ken Newton, at their residence in Clear Lake prior to being admitted to the hospital.

  Per her wishes, she will be cremated, and a private family celebration will be held at a later time.

Jerry Dee Wubben, 80, of Clear Lake, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, while at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, at Clear Lake United Methodist Church, 508 2nd Ave. East, Clear Lake, with the Rev. David Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Mason City, with military honors provided by the Clear Lake VFW Post 4868 Honor Guard.

Florence Helen (Fountas) Larson, 87, of Clear Lake, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 10:30 a.m., at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N 4th St., Clear Lake.   

Flo was born on Jan. 6, 1932, in Mason City, Iowa, to John and Cynthia Fountas.  She was proud of her Greek heritage and loved sharing a bit of Greek culture with friends and family through her delicious cooking.
