Dale L. Wessels

Dale Leo Wessels, 77, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice, in Mason City, surrounded by loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21,  at First Congregational Church, 923 Buddy Holly Place, Clear Lake, with the Rev.  Harlan Seri officiating. Dale’s family will be greeting  guests at the church one our prior to the service.

Arthur William Schlee, of Apache Junction, Az. and Clear Lake and formerly of Randalia, passed away on Dec. 4, 2019, at the age of 94.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

The Clear Lake boys basketball team is off to a 1-1 start, following a loss to West Fork and win over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows.

The Clear Lake girls (3-0) are looking like a well-oiled machine just three games into the 2019-20 season.  For the third straight game the Lions held their opponent to just 27 points, more than doubling the score for easy wins.
