Judy Hilgendorf, an English teacher and creative writing enthusiast, loved Clear Lake.  And when she passed last year, only a few days after attending one of her favorite events— Christmas By The Lake, her family chose to use her memorial gifts to fund a “Why I Love Clear Lake” essay contest in her name.

We are in the final week of The Giving Tree and eight ornaments remain on the tree.  Can you help by purchasing gifts or a food gift card?  Please stop in the Mirror-Reporter office at 12 N. 4th St., to take part in the community Christmas project.
