Clear Lake sandwiched wins between losses in six games played last week.  The Lions are now 5-7 overall and 2-4 in the North Central Conference.

The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura baseball team continues to struggle.  The team is looking to end a 10-game losing streak, unfortunately, this wasn’t the week, as the Cards dropped four more games.

Nashua-Plainfield 11, GHV 5

Nashua-Plainfield took control of the game early and didn’t relent, beating GHV 11-5  on Monday, June 10.

The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura softball team ended a seven game losing streak late in the week to move its record to 5-11 overall.

The GHV girls are going to work on getting back to basics, as they dropped their sixth game in a row to Nashua-Plainfield on Monday, June 10.

The accolades keep accumulating for Garner-Hayfield-Ventura’s Carlee Frayne, as she continueds to be recognized for her golf skills.

Frayne, who placed fourth in the Class 2A State Golf Tournament in May, was named First Team All State and First Team All Tournament in Class 2A.
