(Above) This photo shows an Old Dominion Freight Line building similar to one which will be constructed this year on North 32nd Street in Clear Lake.  The Clear Lake facility will have 31 doors for trucks and a small office.  The lot will be concrete. No word yet on likely hotel and convention center

To meet customer needs with new products and services, the retail offices of Woodford Lumber and Home will be moved to a new location this fall.

Dorothy Ann (Crane) Brown, of Des Moines, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (also known as Dodo by her friends and family), passed away on June 26, 2019, at Parc Provence, St. Louis, Mo. Dorothy resided in St Louis for the past five years of her life to be near her two sons.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Des Moines. Visitation will be held after the memorial service. Private interment will be at the Masonic Cemetery Mausoleum, in Des Moines.

Lawrence (Larry) H. Boller, 84, of Belmond, formerly a long time farmer in rural Goodell, died, Thursday, June 27, 2019, under Gateway Hospice at the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond following a battle with cancer.
