The Lions wrapped up the regular season with a resounding win over a North Central Conference opponent.  They defeated Iowa Falls-Alden, 73-46, to improve to 15-5 heading.

Huge crowds revel in Color The Wind

Tens of thousands of people took full advantage of a blue-sky February day to enjoy legions of kites flying high above the lake Saturday at the Color The Wind Festival.

Clear Lake rate remains among lowest in the state

Clear Lake city leaders plan to keep the local tax rate unchanged from its current rate of $9.70 per $1,000 of taxable valuation.

The City Council set a public hearing for March 7 to consider the budget presented at their Monday night meeting by Director of Finance Creighton Schmidt.
