Donald Lloyd Goranson, who was born at home in Clear Lake 94 years ago, died at home on Sunday.

Due to Covid 19 considerations, the family is holding a private service on Saturday, May 8, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 1st Ave. N., Clear Lake, with the Rev. David Peterson officiating. Inurnment will be at Clear Lake Cemetery. The service will be streamed at 1 p.m., Saturday on the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel Facebook page and available on Donald’s tribute page at www.colonialchapels.com.

Adelaide A. Brager, 94, of Ventura passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Concord Care Center, in Garner.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 1, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, east of Garner, with the Rev. Scott Kozisek officiating.   Inurnment was in the church cemetery.

David Farnan passed away on April 28, 2021, in Shelby Township, Mich., at the age of 76. 

Instate was held Monday morning, May 3, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Shelby Township.  Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Dave was born in Clear Lake on Jan. 8, 1945, to Thorton and Geraldine Farnan. David was a proud graduate of Loras College, in Dubuque, Iowa.
