What’s that old saying about Iowa weather?  Wait a day and it will change?  Well, if you wait a week it will REALLY change.  (Above) On Tuesday, April 17, members of the Clear Lake girls soccer team decided to get out of the gym and do something completely different and fun on the soccer field.  Coach Greg Jennings led the girls onto the soccer practice field on the south side of the school to construct the tea

Historical Society will build info kiosk at cemetery

The Clear Lake Historical Society has received the go-ahead— and $3,500, for construction of an information kiosk at the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Beth Ann Schumacher, president of the group, recently addressed the Clear Lake City Council about the project, which has been a year in development.
