The Clear Lake doubles team of Mac Adams and Aaron Blum played in the Iowa State Tennis Tournament on Friday, May 24.  First round matches were played inside because of rain.

Humboldt topped Clear Lake in an all-important rubber match Wednesday, May 22, ending the season for the Lions in the second round of Sub-State play.

CL 2, Postville 1

The Lions opened Sub-State with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Postville Monday, May 20, at Waverly.  Postville came into the game with a 9-7 record, while the Lions were 7-11.

The Clear Lake softball team used a seven-run second inning on their way to a 13-5 win over Waverly-Shell Rock Wednesday, May 22, to open up their season.
