Volunteer work precedes job fair today at Surf

Seventeen employees of McKesson Corporation traveled to Clear Lake on Monday to spend an afternoon volunteering at the Opportunity Village Children’s Autism Center.

Lions fall in hard-fought victory

  St. Edmond’s left Clear Lake with a volleyball win Thursday night, but it wasn’t easy.  The Lions (5-11, 0-2) battled throughout four games, but dropped a 3-1 decision.

The North Central Conference match opened with a close game one.  The Gaels pulled out a 25-20 win to start the match.  The opening game gave the Lions the confidence they needed to take game two, 25-14.

Clear Lake cross country teams competed at Humboldt last week.  The boys team finished fifth in a very competitive 18-team race. The Lion girls were ninth overall.
