The Lions dominated a pair of North Central Conference opponents last week.  Wins over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and Hampton-Dumont kept Clear Lake perfect in the league with a 4-0 record.  They are 7-0 overall.

Mark Lee Harthan, 63, of Clear Lake, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at his home.

Per Mark’s wishes, his body has been cremated, and a memorial service will be scheduled in the near future.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapels, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.

Izetta June Weaver, 95, of Clear Lake, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, in Mason City.

Per Izetta’s wishes, her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Mason City.

Family suggests memorial contributions to University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Iowa in Iowa City.
