Lola Mae Rice, 80, passed peacefully with loved one’s by her side on Feb. 4, 2020, at North Iowa Hospice.

An informal Celebration of Life for local friends and family is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15, from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. pool side at the Best Western, in Clear Lake.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, Breanna (Bree) Lacey Secory, 29, of Phoenix, Az., left us unexpectedly and went to her Heavenly home that Jesus had prepared for her in His Father’s house of many mansions.

She was born June 29, 1990, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Don and Judy Secory.

Gary L. Peters, age 80, of Clear Lake, passed from this life into the next on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, at Hospice of North Iowa, in Mason City, Iowa, surrounded by his loving family.

Gary Lou Peters was born Feb. 17, 1939, in Swaledale, Iowa, the son of Louie Carl and Reva Mollie (Tice) Peters.  He graduated from Swaledale Consolidated High School in 1957, and on July 14, 1959, was united in marriage to Karen Kay Koehler.

Judy Schichtl, 82, Lake Villa, Ill., died of natural causes on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020. Her family was at her bedside in the Connell Aurora hospital in Libertyville, Ill.

Funeral arrangements to follow at a later date.

Bonnie Kay Marken, 69, of Clear Lake, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, in Minneapolis, Minn.

Per Bonnie’s wishes, her body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake.  Casual attire is requested.

Jack W. Davis, 90, of Clear Lake, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, at Concord Care Center, in Garner.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Galilean Lutheran Church, 4454 255th St., Clear Lake, with Pastors Scot and Melinda McCluskey officiating.  Burial will be held at Ventura Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
