Edward “Ed” Harold Burkart, 81, of Ventura, died Jan. 27, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City.

Per Ed’s wishes, his body has been cremated and a memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at Clear Lake Evangelical Free Church, Clear Lake.

Visitation took place prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of customary remembrances, Irene will pass any gifts given to missions work, that Ed cared deeply about.

JoAnn (Osmundson) Christian, born June 6, 1932 in Mason City, Iowa died peacefully in her home with her kids by her side on Jan. 28, 2020 in Fallbrook, Calif.

JoAnn (aka Jo, “Rusty”, Nana, Aunt Jo) grew up in Mason City, Iowa and summered in Clear Lake, Iowa.  Her passion growing up was spending time with friends and family at Clear Lake and all that that entailed.

Lucille A. “Lucy” Milhous, 99, of Clear Lake and formerly of Ventura, passed from this life on Feb. 2, 2020, at Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th Street, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Will Hunsaker officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery beside her husband, Max.

Visitation and public viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the chapel.
