Terri Ann (DeWitt) Datema, 72, of Clear Lake, passed away on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice, in Mason City, surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with Pastor Linda Johnson-Prestholt officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, also at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel.

(Above) Rescue Sled, 1969Winston Perry, of Ventura, stands beside a rescue unit that was purchased by the North Iowa Snowmobile Club in 1969.  The unit was available to anyone for emergency uses and was housed at the Clear Lake Fire Station.  The rescue unit weighed about 200 pounds.  It was made of aluminum with capacity for one person.

CL grapplers go 2-3 at weekend tournament

Clear Lake wrestlers jumped back into action Saturday, Jan. 4, and competed in five dual matches at Hampton on Saturday, Jan. 4.  The Lions went 2-3, posting wins over Eagle Grove and St. Ansgar.

“As coaches you never know what mindset you are going to get from the guys coming out of break, but as a staff we felt we competed with a lot of intensity,” said Head Coach Doug Munn.
