William R. Jeffrey, 74, of Clear Lake, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, in Clear Lake.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family, where a charity will be established at a later date.

William Jeffrey, son of Howard and Rita (Paxson) Jeffrey, was born March 3, 1944, in Muncie, Ind.   He was a member of the Clear Lake United Methodist Church.  William moved to Clear Lake many years ago.

Teresa Ann Conrad, 59, of Mason City, formerly of Clear Lake, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at her home in Mason City.

Per Teresa’s wishes, her body has been cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Teresa was born on Aug. 18, 1959, the daughter of Harold and Bonnie (Hunt) Olinger, in Mason City.

Gayle Maxine Stokes, 74, of Ventura, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018 at Hospice of North Iowa, Mason City.

Per her wishes Gayle has been cremated. A celebration of life will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at Lakeview Community Center, City Park, in Clear Lake, 10 North Lakeview Dr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family, 320 Oriole Court, Tiffin, IA 52340.

(Above) Ventura 5th graders, 1993 - Ventura fifth graders stepped back in time in 1993 to create their own version of “Jurassic Park.”  Students helped create this “Dino Park,” now on display in the school’s media center.  After researching dinosaurs and their environment, the students used Model Magic to sculpt dinosaurs and other creatures.  Newspaper was recycled for use, along with rocks, glue and other natural substances.
