The Clear Lake girls golf team qualified for a return to the State Meet with a runner-up finish at the Regional Tournament played Monday, May 21, in Waverly.  Dubuque Wahlert scored 344 to claim the Regional title; the Lions finished with a 361.  Host Waverly-Shell Rock was four strokes back with a 365.

Soccer girls wrap up regular season

The Clear Lake girls soccer team wrapped up the regular season by playing four games in seven days.  The Lions, now 6-5, will host Garner-Hayfield-Ventura for the first round of post-season playoffs Tuesday, May 29.

The Clear Lake girls soccer team wrapped up the regular season by playing four games in seven days.  The Lions, now 6-5, will host Garner-Hayfield-Ventura for the first round of post-season playoffs Tuesday, May 29.

Frayne sisters to compete at State Golf Meet

The 2A Girls Regional golf final was held at the Garner Golf Club on Monday, May 21.  The GHV team placed third in the first round of Regionals held on Monday, May 14, at the Emmetsburg Country Club, but because the team was the host of the Regional finals, they also qualified to compete.

A fundraising campaign is being launched to make critical building repairs and essential upgrades to the Clear Lake Arts Center.

One hundred and two Clear Lake High School seniors enjoyed a trip down memory lane and then a walk across the stage as they were presented diplomas Sunday.

Senior class speakers Gretchen Jones and Max McKenna each reminded classmates of their journey through the years, with each concluding the 4,651 days that have passed seem like yesterday.

City helps One Vision issue revenue bonds for apartments

The Clear Lake City Council unanimously approved a request from One Vision Monday night to issue revenue bonds for its TimberCrest Apartments project on the main campus of the organization, formerly known as Opportunity Village.
