Public input, market data, site visits result in five-year plan for prosperity

With support from 12 partner organizations and more than 1,000 regional stakeholders, the North Iowa Corridor Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and Vision North Iowa partnership announced the launch of a five-year regional prosperity strategy for Cerro Gordo County on Tuesday, April 10.

Large item pickup delayed

Clear Lake’s City-Wide Large Item Pick-up was delayed this week after seven inches of snow fell on the area Sunday.  The pick-up schedule, which was to begin Monday, was backed up by one day.  However, the date specified for appliance pick-up, Thursday, April 12, remains the same.-Reporter photo.

Clear Lake High School Activities Director Dale Ludwig was pleased to present two longtime volunteers to the CLHS sports programs with Outstanding Service Awards for Community Support at the recent State Athletic Directors Association Convention held in Iowa City.
