A late basket lifted the Algona Bulldogs to a 49-47 victory over the Clear Lake boys Friday night, Dec. 8.  The loss evened the Lions’ record at 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the North Central Conference, while Algona improved to 1-3, 1-0.

The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura boys basketball team made big strides last week, picking up two wins and giving the Class 1A defending State champions a run for their money.
