GHV girls pick up three wins

It was a successful week for the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura softball team, as they picked up three wins, moving their record to 10-7 overall.

GHV 11, Algona 9

The bats were swinging Monday night, June 15, when the Cardinals traveled to Algona.  GHV combined for a total of 20 hits in a 10-inning game, while the Bulldogs had 16 hits.  The Cardinals won the slug fest, 11-9.

Pitcher Brooklynn Ossman pitched all 10 innings.  She struck out three and walked one.
