Anne E. Goranson

Filled with her abiding faith and zest for life to the end, Anne Elizabeth Goranson, 98, of Clear Lake, passed on to her eternal home on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021. She died at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City from a heart attack.

A memorial service was held on Monday, Nov. 1, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Mason City, with the Rev. Stephen Benitz officiating. Anne’s service will be posted to Anne’s tribute at www.colonialchapels.com. Inurnment will be at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.

Ron Huntley

Ronald (Ron) Huntley, 83, of Clear Lake, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at the MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City, after a lengthy illness.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 1st Ave. N., Clear Lake. Private inurnment services will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery with military honors provided by the Clear Lake VFW Post 4868 Honor Guard.

Ron Huntley

Ronald (Ron) Huntley, 83, of Clear Lake, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at the MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City, after a lengthy illness.

James J. Bryant

On Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, James (Jim) J. Bryant, loving husband and father of three sons, passed away at age 85.

  Jim was born on June 13, 1936, in Hartley, Iowa to Harold and Violet (Thortsen) Bryant. He received his BA in Education from the State Teachers College of Iowa (UNI) and his Master’s in Education from Colorado State University.  He was a teacher, coach and principal for almost 50 years in various schools across Iowa, longest tenured in Ventura and Lake Mills.

Pat J. Treloar

 Pat Treloar, 88, of Clear Lake passed away peacefully at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City, after defying a heart condition for a couple of decades!

Charlotte Jane Fiero was born Feb. 3, 1933, to Floyd and Helen Fiero. Her father nicknamed her “Pat” at a young age. She was the youngest sister of Betty and Lois.  She grew up in Garner and graduated from high school there, where she was always proud to be a Garner Cardinal!

Pat J. Treloar

Robert D. Wilson

Robert Don Wilson, 89, passed away peacefully on Oct. 27, 2021 surrounded by family and friends. 

Bob was born in Arion, Iowa, to Edward and Sarah Wilson on Feb. 13, 1932. He worked on the farm to help his dad. After graduation in 1950, he joined the Navy. He benefited from the skills and life lessons learned in his four years of service.
