City makes early retirement offer

The Clear Lake City Council approved an early retirement incentive Monday night which could help as many as three eligible city employees retire with the ability to keep their medical insurance coverage.

City Administrator Scott Flory said the incentive program is offered every four to five years and is identical in each offering.  Some interest had been expressed  in the voluntary program this year, so the city is making it available.
