July 1995

Joel F. Punke, 80, of Clear Lake, died July 10, 2020, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at Ward-Van-Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th Street, Clear Lake. Burial will take place in Lincoln Township Cemetery, north of Clear Lake, following the funeral service.

A public visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, at Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home.

Robert (Bob) Lee Hayungs, 80, of Clear Lake, died, Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at his home in Clear Lake.

Services are tentatively scheduled for on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Clear Lake Christian Church, at 11 a.m.  Visitation will be held prior to the service.  Services and visitation are open to the public.

  Andrews Funeral Home, Belmond, is handling funeral arrangements.

Richard “Dick” Arnold Mott, 92, of Mason City, formerly of Clear Lake, died Sunday, March 22, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, Mason City.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Dave Byrd, IOOF Home Chaplain officiating. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Mason City.

Family suggests memorial contributions to PurpleStride Iowa, The Walk To End Pancreatic Cancer, in memory of Rex McChesney (Rex’s Runners).
