Pamela Kay (Watts) Patterson passed away on Feb. 22, 2020 after a brave four-year battle with cancer.  She was surrounded by her family. 

Services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, in Lakeville, Minn. on Thursday, March 5, at 11 a.m.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  A light lunch will be served following the church service.  In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Doris A. Enabnit, 89, of Clear Lake, died, Feb. 13, 2020, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan, Kan. 

Memorial services will be held later this year. 

Andrews Funeral Home, Belmond, Iowa, is handling arrangements. 

Jeanne Marie Drew passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, in Sioux Falls, S.D., at the age of 91. Maintaining her independence was of utmost importance to Jeanne and she accomplished this in top fashion…never wanting to be a burden on anyone. She was the caretaker.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Holy Family Family Catholic Church, Emmetsburg, Iowa, with the Rev. Bill Schreiber as celebrant.  Inurnment was in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Emmetsburg.

(Above) Train makes unexpected stop in 1970 - A single-lane Milwaukee road track south of Highway 18 was cleared for traffic in 1970 following a derailment of six cars.  About 1,000 feet of track was damaged, beef in a Hormel car was transported to refrigerated trucks and taken to Mason City, and grain in another car was transported to its destination.  The train was enroute from Sioux Falls, S.D. to Chicago.  Railroad officers in Mason City would give no further details.
