Cleo Overgaard, age 100, died peacefully, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Monticello, Iowa.

A visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at Ward Van-Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with interment in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.

The Clear Lake girls picked up one important North Central Conference victory last week, but for the second time this season lost to Algona, giving the Bulldogs at least a share of the conference crown.

Seven Clear Lake wrestlers will be on the mats Saturday vying for a State Tournament berth.  The Lions finished third at the Class 2A Sectional held Saturday in Osage.  Five grapplers won titles, while two others advanced with second place finishes.
