Christmas spirit was shining bright Saturday, as the Christmas by the Lake celebration was held.  Inclement weather forced a one week postponement of the celebration, but it did little to dampen the enthusiasm.

City sidewalk improvement initiative met with approval

The City of Clear Lake has received about 84 percent compliance in its effort to improve defective sidewalks within the community, but there is still work to be done— or at least scheduled.

In the summer of 2017, the City embarked on a mission to replace 6,000 linear feet of defective sidewalk within the community.  That amount does not include the significant amount of sidewalk constructed in combination with other projects.

Wilma Marie Ades, of Clear Lake, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 surrounded by her family.

A celebration of life service was held on Friday, Nov. 30, at the Clear Lake Christian Church.
