Picking up three wins in action last week, the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura baseball team moved its record to 9-6.

CL girls drop pair of NCC games

The Lions dropped a pair of games to North Central Conference opponents last week, putting their record at 9-10 overall and 4-6 in the NCC.

“These games are good for us.  We battled,” said Coach Austin Peterson.  “We are trying to get ready for tournament time.  We still have things we need to figure out.”

Remember When 6-27-2018

A number of awards were given in conjunction with the 1993 4th of July parade.  Above, a group from 5th Avenue South won the neighborhood float contest with this entry.  The neighborhood received a block party.  (Right) The Clear Lake High School Lion Tamers and football captains decorated this vehicle to look like a lion, earning them second place and $25 in the non-commercial youth category.
