GHV girls top Clear Lake in Regional action

The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura girls soccer team made school history last week with their first ever Regional win.  Unfortunately, the season ended in the second game for the Cardinals.

GHV 1, Clear Lake 0

GHV faced Clear Lake on Tuesday, May 31, to open Regional play.  The Cardinals’ Payton Bamrick connected on a goal deep in the first half.  That was all it took, as one goal was enough to top the Lions.

Clear Lake girls split NCC games

The Clear Lake girls split games played with North Central Conference opponents last week and stepped outside the league for a hard-fought match with eighth ranked (2A) Central Springs.  The Lions are 2-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
