Youngster doubles his fun with rare catch

“Wow, what a morning!” proclaimed Clear Lake Bait & Tackle co-owner Chris Scholl on his business’ Facebook page.

(Right) A rain garden designed to help protect the water quality of Clear Lake got some much needed attention last week, as new CLEAR Project Coordinator Jim Sholly mobilized volunteers for action.  The group started removing uninvited weeds in the rain garden near City beach and the Clear Lake Yacht Club in an effort to improve the aesthetics of the site.

A Celebration of Life honoring Steve Lahner, who died Monday, May 9, 2016, in Rochester, Minn., will be held at the Surf Ballroom, 460 North Shore Drive, Clear Lake, on Saturday, July 9, 2016, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

  All friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.
