Lois E.  Norem, 81, formerly of Mason City, Iowa, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Evangelical Free Church, 1310 Highway 18 West, Clear Lake, with Pastor Randy Vaage officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Memorials can be directed to the Lois E. Norem Memorial fund.

LaVohn M. Badker, 88, of Garner, Iowa, formerly Clear Lake, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at the Concord Care Center, Garner.

A celebration of LaVohn’s life was held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Thompson officiating.  Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery. Family suggests memorials to Clear Lake United Methodist Church Guild Fund or Hospice of North Iowa.

Idalia Y. Ibarra, 87, of Clear Lake, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at her son’s home, in Mason City, Iowa.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. John Gossman officiating.  Family will greet friends one hour before the service.

Idalia was born July 18, 1928, in Allende Coahuila, Mexico. Ida was the eldest daughter of Manuel and Concha (Hernandez) Sanchez.

Susan G. Swartwood, 62, Mason City, passed away Mon., Nov. 23 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa, in Mason City.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Mon., Nov. 30 at First Assembly of God, Mason  City.  Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Sun., Nov. 29 at Hogea Bremer Moor Colonial Chapel, Mason City.  Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
