Bonnie Evenson

Bonnie L. Evenson (Myers), 83, of North Fond du Lac, Wis., formerly of Clear Lake, passed away Friday, July 10, at St. Agnes Hospital, in Fond du Lac.

Bonnie was born May 16, 1932 to Lawrence and Reva (Roderick) Myers. She attended Mason City, Iowa schools. She moved to Fond du Lac in 2006 to be near her daughters. Bonnie married Donald Amundson on Feb. 12, 1949 and they had four children, Dennis, Donna, Jay and Jo Dee. After Don’s death in 1970 Bonnie married Steve Barlow in 1973. They divorced in 1985 and she later married Richard Evenson in 1990.

Clear Lake baseball players named to All District teams

Adams, Keeran and Merrill named to the 2A Central District First Team

All-District baseball teams were released over the weekend by the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association:

Clear Lake’s Brock Adams, Mitch Keeran and Cooper Merrill were named to the 2A Central District First Team.  Adams was honored as a pitcher, Keeran as an outfielder and Merrill as a utility player.
