Mary Ann Flaten, 79 of Clear Lake,  died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at her home.  A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, July 18 at Clear Lake United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday, July 17 at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake.  Family suggests memorial contributions to One Vision (previously Opportunity Village) or to Galilean Church, Clear Lake.

Lorene M. Hansen, 92, of Clear Lake, died Friday, July 7, 2017, at Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City, Iowa.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Steve Lomen officiating.  Inurnment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Clear Lake.

Robert L. Klassen, Ventura, died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Britt, Iowa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2017, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1001 9th Ave. S., Clear Lake, with the Rev. John Gossman officiating.  Inurnment will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery with military honors provided by the Clear Lake VFW Post 4868.

Chong Bun Lam, 86, 709 N. 6th Pl., Clear Lake, died July 3, 2017, at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life was held at Lam Inn Restaurant, Clear Lake, on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

According to his wishes, his body has been cremated.  Memorials may be sent to 709 N. 6th Pl.. Clear Lake, IA 50428.
