Marilyn Ann (Muscat) Broghammer, 79, of Clear Lake, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at home surrounded by her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Jan. 25 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. John Gossman, celebrant.  Interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Mercy University (c/o Benjamin and Lucille Broghammer Nursing Scholarship Fund), St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, or Hospice of North Iowa.

Clear Lake’s newest and most comprehensive visitor guide, “Explore!” is now available at numerous locations throughout North Iowa.  The 72-page magazine is just the latest of many publications produced locally by the Clear Lake Mirror-Reporter.

HOW do the Caucuses work?

To participate, Iowans must be registered to vote, including first-time voters who will be age 18 by Election Day, Nov. 8, 2016.

Same-day registrations for Democrats and Republicans are available at each political party’s respective caucuses, which will take place in 1,681 electoral precincts across the state.
