James Ramon Pals, 84, of Clear Lake, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at his home.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with Pastor Dennis Ganz officiating.  Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery with military honors provided by the Clear Lake VFW Post 4868.

Family suggests memorial contributions to the James Pals Memorial Fund.

Helen Mary (Kellogg) Lowman, of Clear Lake, passed on peacefully Saturday, Jan. 28, at Mercy Medical Center, Mason City, Iowa.

As Helen wished, her family will celebrate her life with a private ceremony this spring.

Helen was born Dec. 13, 1921, to Louis and Louise Kellogg.

Marilyn Hazel Larson, 93, of Clear Lake, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at Oakwood Care Center, in Clear Lake.

A memorial service was held on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, with Pastor Steve Bang officiating.  Inurnment will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery at a later date.

Family suggests memorial contributions to Salem Lutheran Church Music, in Lake Mills, Iowa or Zion Lutheran Church Music, in Clear Lake.

Cynthia Eileen Wolfram, 81, of Ventura, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 301 S. Main St., Ventura, with Pastor Jesse Burns officiating.  A private burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Mason City, Iowa.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Saturday at the church.
