The Clear Lake Parks Board has tabled a request from Jake Kopriva, owner of Lake Time Boat Club, to construct a commercial boat dock at the Beach Drive lake access.

(Above) Joshua Frederick has partnered with Opportunity Village to soon open The Fieldhouse, serving Farm to Table lunches and dinners in the former Angelina’s location at 14 N. 3rd St.  The building, offering beautiful views of City Park and the lake, had been empty for seven years.  Frederick is pictured along side the new wood-fired grill in the refurbished kitchen.-Reporter photo.

Jennifer Cash, Iowa Farm Bureau county chair, was on hand at Monday’s send-off for the Clear Lake girls basketball team to present Head Coach Bart Smith and the Lions team with keepsake basketballs.  Iowa Farm Bureau is a sponsor of the Iowa High School Girls State Basketball Championships.  Cash noted she has been honored to make presentations to the Clear Lake girls team on a regular basis.  Monday’s send-off was the third in four years for Cash and t
